When your item is sold

1. You’ll be notified of the sale

Whether your item is purchased by an auction bidder or at a fixed price, you’ll receive an email from Xoobie, notifying you that your item has been sold.

2. Contact the buyer

The next step is to contact the buyer to arrange the method of payment and when it will happen. You can also agree on how you will ship the goods (and any additional cost if not already established), once the payment is accepted by you.

You can log into Xoobie and navigate to the Listings > Successful section of My Account and click on Contact Winner to contact the buyer.

3. Send an invoice to the buyer

You may now invoice the buyer for the goods by performing the following steps in the Listings > Successful section:

  1. Select the checkbox next to the items to be invoiced
  2. Click the Assign Items To Invoice button
  3. Click the View Edit Invoice button
  4. Fill in the details of the Listings > Successful > Edit Invoice page and click
  5. Enter an amount into the Shipping field if applicable
  6. Enter an amount into the Tax field as GST if applicable
  7. Select the Send invoice to buyer option
  8. Click Save Changes
  9. The email will be sent to the buyer

4. Accept the payment

You should receive the payment within a few days (or as otherwise agreed with the buyer). Once you have received the payment, you should navigate to the Listings > Successful section and mark the item as paid.

5. Ship the item

The next step is to package the item and ship it to the buyer, ensuring that it is packaged in such a way that it will not get damaged in the mail.

Once you have done this, you should navigate to the Listings > Successful section and mark the item as shipped.

6. Leave feedback

The final step is to navigate to the Listings > Successful section and click the Leave Feedback button to leave feedback to the buyer.
